I am a lifelong learner and empath. My entire life, I have worked with people and surrounded myself with animals. I’d bring in strays and rescue wildlife from the time I was very young, many times to the dismay of my family no doubt.
From high school onwards, I went into health care and did volunteer work. I also worked in hospitality for many years, as I loved talking to people and, more importantly, to listen to them with intent. I understood the value of people’s willingness to speak, to be heard, and their longing for connection. I didn’t realize just how uncommon that was.
At the time, people didn’t speak openly about things that mattered, nor were they encouraged to do so. They most definitely didn’t know how to listen with intent. I’m not sure if that is an undeveloped skill or just an under-encouraged one. Because to be real with others, you need to be honest with yourself. Not only is that super hard and at times terrifying but it also takes time, and in the current climate, it’s hard to find that time.
Having learned to better understand the importance of authentic conversation and human interactions, I have decided to give others the unique opportunity to practice these interactions. It has become my professional focus.
Leading up to this, I was a nurse, after being both a PSW and a paramedic. I wanted flexibility in my specialty and to focus on mental health. I landed what I thought was my dream job working in inpatient pediatric mental health but found the shift work and staffing crisis left me feeling like I wasn’t ever able to spend the time I wanted or needed to help promote change.
I also got a job in the emergency department of one of Canada’s top ten hospitals, as I felt it was important to stay well-rounded as a nurse, but the same thing applied – long waits, tired staff, and no family doctors made for an environment that wasn’t the fit I was after….
The search continued, and the theme remained the same. Finally, I realized what I wanted didn’t exist. So, I completed a post-grad mental health certificate and dove into learning everything I could that related to mental health, overall wellness, and the connections between the two.
I believe strongly that a human’s ability to be well is influenced not by only one aspect but by many, with emotional, physical, spiritual, and environmental factors at play. Practitioners and care providers must treat everyone with care that is as unique as they are and encompasses all the aspects of the individual, not just by treating a symptom, or even several, but rather by treating the root cause of the issue or the person in their entirety.
When people are treated piece by piece they remain in pieces. When people are treated as a whole, it opens opportunities for them to become whole.
As a nurse, I am licensed to perform psychotherapy. I am also a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Nurse Psychotherapy Association of Ontario, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care, Creative Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Quebec Psychotherapy Association, Ontario Association of Mental Health Providers. I am also an entreprenurse and certified life coach.
I have experience working with children, adults of all ages, couples, and families.
If you’re ready to talk, I’m ready to listen. My counselling style is individual, adaptive, and results-driven.
If you are ready to do the work, I’m ready to help you do it. Because if we don’t change, how can we expect anything in our lives to?
It is with that in mind that Pure Green Life – Whole Care Limited came to be. Although my specialty is mental health, I keep in mind that all areas of one’s well-being need to be addressed to have results in another. At Pure Green Life, I’ve finally found my right fit, because its a nursing agency that provides in-home care from pediatrics to palliative. Its compassionate care providers keep your environment safe while addressing all aspects of your life so you feel whole. I work with a group of professionals that practice in various modalities, so, along with my therapy and coaching, if needed, I can connect you with other professionals to help you on your journey to wellness and, more importantly, your journey to wholeness.

My name is Harmony Simard. I’m a passionate registered early childhood educator (RECE), who has worked in a variety of learning institutions within the province of Ontario and internationally.
With my focus on early childhood education, learning, and development, I believe that every child has the right to play, to experience magical and memorable moments, and to feel a sense of belonging. I work with early childhood educators, other early learning professionals, families, and caregivers in a coaching and mentoring capacity, so that I can advocate for children and give them a voice while promoting high-quality learning and care. I have been a consultant for childcare centres and family programs at all levels, developing and presenting professional learning experiences to the early learning sector in several regions, as well as to organizations in Ontario, including large-scale conferences.
I also teach courses on early childhood topics at the post-secondary level, and I work with students, supporting their learning journey to becoming our future early childhood educators while keeping me connected to research and Ontario’s pedagogy for the early years.
Some of my values include family, collaboration, inclusion, lifelong learning, harmony, and humour, and one of my strengths is connecting with others by using these values as a compass to inspire and empower their personal and professional growth.
I provide consulting services for those who care for children between the ages of twelve months to six years old. Consulting for the Early Years focuses primarily on inspiring growth and igniting passion within the adults who care for young children.
I also provide workshops, which are based on research and my understanding of provincial pedagogy for the early years. I believe that every child deserves to learn through play, to feel a sense of belonging in a safe, inclusive environment, to have opportunities for fun and engaging experiences and activities, and to have opportunities to express themselves. I am committed to sharing my expertise with those who work closely with children so that they can create quality early learning experiences for them.

We are a group of certified and experienced nutrition counsellors and a chef, with training and educational backgrounds in wellness, movement, and healing. A nutritional counsellor understands the complex relationship between food choices, hydration, toxicity, your overall well-being, and the bridges, gaps, and gullies between them.
Balanced and customized nutrition can be life-changing.
Your body is a machine, and when provided with the appropriate fuel will perform at an optimal level.
Whether you are trying to heal, maintain or come back to homeostasis, or level up, proper and individualized nutritional intake can make a massive difference.
We can work together to create a customized nutrition plan to meet the needs of you and your family.
We also offer specialized dietary counselling services for those struggling with a nutritional imbalance in neurodivergent and differently abled children, including tube-feeding diets – the placement of a feeding tube does not mean you have to give up access to high-quality nutrition or the power to use food as medicine.
We can educate and empower you to learn how to create and implement individualized, blenderized meal plans that will allow you to ensure the quality of your child’s nutritional intake while providing their body with the nutrients it requires to function and heal.
Proper nutrition affects sleep patterns, behaviour, mood, wakefulness, energy levels, learning capacity, overall well-being, resilience, and development.

Women’s Weight Neutral Fitness, Intuitive Eating & Body Image Coach
Hello, my name is Laurine! I’m a dedicated coach on a mission to reshape perspectives on health and self-worth. My personal journey through battles with body dysmorphia, an eating disorder, and a complex relationship with exercise has become the compass guiding my coaching philosophy.
Driven by a misguided belief that my body was my business card, I immersed myself in the world of bikini and figure bodybuilding competitions. This experience, however, became a turning point as it led me to break free from unhealthy obsessions. Now, as a coach, I bring a unique perspective to the table.
My coaching style centers around a weight-neutral approach to health, prioritizing habits that enhance both physical and mental well-being. Having navigated the challenges of diets, calorie counting, and binge-eating, I intimately understand the struggles my clients face.
What sets my coaching apart is its departure from conventional methods. I empower individuals through intuitive eating and dismantling fat phobia, fostering a healthy relationship with food, exercise, and self.
For those seeking a structured and transformative journey, I proudly offer My Babe Blueprint program. Tailored to help women detach their worth from their body size, this program guides them through intuitive eating, body-neutral strength training, and dismantling diet rules. It's a transformative experience that cultivates confidence irrespective of body size.
Beyond coaching, I proudly identify with the neurodivergent (ADHD) and LGBTQ communities. Outside of coaching, you might find me expressing my creativity through music. Ready to embark on a journey of holistic well-being and self-discovery? Let's navigate this transformative path together.

Hi, my name is Deanne, and I’m a Social Services Worker offering programs for youth and adults! My company, Compassion First, prioritizes mental health for our members, offering an approach that supports them throughout their entire lives. I became passionate about offering these services, when dealing with mental health and learning disabilities in my loved ones and went back to school to be able to offer support to those in need myself. Before going to school, I worked in respite, and nursing homes for more than a decade, offering me experience I still use to this day. I’m dedicated to my members and their quality of life, improving skills, and offering a space to socialize with other like-minded people. I now offer a day program for adults, as well as evening recreation time, a youth peer connections group after school, and a weekend peer socializing group as well. In my personal life I enjoy quality time with those I love, as well as caring for my homestead and baking. I bring these skills back to our programs with cooking and more! Our programs are always growing, and I look forward to connecting to more people! Reach out to me to see what I can do to support you.
